The Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-signed wide receiver Nic Demski to a two-year contract extension through the 2027 season on Thursday. Demski was scheduled to be a free agent in February.

Nic Demski is five foot eleven and weighs 213 pounds. The 32-year-old from Winnipeg, Manitoba, made 67 catches for 1,001 yards, seven touchdowns, nine carries for 67 yards, and three tackles in 16 games in 2025. He was named a CFL West All-Star for the fifth straight season.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders drafted Demski in the first round (6th pick) of the 2015 CFL Draft. He played three seasons in Saskatchewan with 69 catches for 725 yards, three touchdowns, 38 carries for 44 yards, and 16 kick returns for 331 yards in 40 games.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Demski as a free agent in 2018. In 2023, he made 67 catches for 1,006 yards, six touchdowns, and 19 carries for 142 yards in 17 games. In 2024, Demski made 76 catches for 1,030 yards, six carries for 17 yards, one kick return for two yards, two tackles, and one tackle on special teams in 18 games.

In seven seasons in Winnipeg, Demski has made 425 catches for 5,560 yards, 39 touchdowns, 126 carries for 853 yards, four touchdowns, 16 kick returns for 282 yards, 13 punt returns for 106 yards, 21 tackles, and one tackle on special teams in 78 games. He is a two-time Grey Cup champion, five-time CFL West All-Star, and a winner of the Grey Cup Most Valuable Canadian in 2021.

Collegiately, Demski played four seasons at the University of Manitoba (2011-14) with 87 catches for 1,577 yards, 15 touchdowns, 90 carries for 493 yards, two touchdowns, 37 kick returns for 899 yards, 85 punt returns for 941 yards, two touchdowns, and four tackles (3 solos, 1 assist) in 29 games for the Bisons. He was named a four-time CIS All-Canadian and four-time Canada West All-Star.
