The Old Dominion Monarchs (10-3) took on the South Florida Bulls (9-4) on Wednesday night in the StaffDNA Cure Bowl from Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. The Monarchs trailed the Bulls 10-7, and scored 17 unanswered points to win the StaffDNA Cure Bowl by the final score of 24-10. The Bulls were shut out in the second half.

Old Dominion had 382 yards on offense (127 yards passing, 255 yards rushing), 21 first downs, and the team was penalized six times for 70 yards. Quarterback Quinn Henicle completed 11 of 25 passes (44%) for 127 yards, 24 carries for 107 yards, and two rushing touchdowns.

Running back Devin Roche had 19 carries for 100 yards, while Trequan Jones had eight carries for 56 yards and one rushing touchdown. Wide receiver Na’eem Abdul-Rahim Gladding made five catches for 60 yards, while Ja’Cory Thomas made three catches for 45 yards.

Kicker Nathanial Eichner made 1 of 2 field goals (50%) with a long of 24 yards. The defense made 78 tackles, eight tackles for loss, four sacks, three pass breakups, and four interceptions.

USF had 333 yards on offense (281 yards passing, 52 yards rushing), 19 first downs, and the team was penalized seven times for 65 yards. Quarterback Gaston Moore completed 20 of 28 passes (71.4%) for 236 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions, and eight carries for -21 yards.

Running back Alvon Isaac had seven carries for 41 yards, while Sam Franklin had 10 carries for 29 yards. Wide receiver Christian Neptune made 10 catches for 102 yards, while Jeremiah Koger made four catches for 68 yards and one touchdown.

Kicker Nico Gramatica made 1 of 3 field goals (33%) with a long of 28 yards. The defense made 70 tackles, six tackles for loss, four sacks, two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery.
