The Montreal Alouettes signed running back Aaron Shampklin on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Aaron Shampklin is five foot ten and weighs 195 pounds. The 26-year-old from Paramount, California, signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. In 2022, Shampklin had 28 carries for 106 yards and one catch for no yards in three preseason games. The Cowboys released him on September 2, 2022.

The Indianapolis Colts signed Shampklin to the practice squad on December 20, 2022. The Colts released him on May 2, 2023. The Houston Gamblers of the United States Football League signed Shampklin on May 18, 2023. In 2023, he had 12 carries for 52 yards and one catch for 26 yards in three games. The Gamblers released him on August 1, 2023, and he signed with the Los Angeles Chargers on August 15, 2023.

Collegiately, Shampklin spent five seasons at Harvard (2017-21) with 402 carries for 2,251 yards, 23 rushing touchdowns, 29 catches for 296 yards, three touchdowns, one kick return for 13 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 29 games for the Crimson. He was named a two-time First Team All-Ivy League, HERO FCS Sophomore All-American, and First Team All-Ivy League by Phil Steele.
