The Montreal Alouettes re-signed offensive lineman Cyrille Hogan-Saindon to a two-year contract extension through the 2027 season on Monday.
Cyrille Hogan-Saindon is six foot four and weighs 310 pounds. The 28-year-old from Quebec, Quebec, signed with the Montreal Alouettes on February 11, 2025. In 2025, Hogan-Saindon dressed for nine games in addition to two playoff games and the Grey Cup game.
Montreal’s offense averaged 23.3 points per game, 34 touchdowns, 329.4 net offense per game, 254.6 passing yards per game, 85.9 rushing yards per game, and allowed 26 sacks, finishing 10-8 for the season on their way to appearing in the 112th Grey Cup against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The Ottawa Redblacks drafted Hogan-Saindon in the second round (11th pick) of the 2022 CFL Draft. In 2022, he played 18 games. In 2023, he played 18 games. Ottawa’s offense finished sixth in average offense points (20.7), tied seventh in offensive touchdowns (33), last in average net offense (318.8), second in average rushing yards (127.6), last in average passing yards (220.4), and last in sacks allowed (71).
In 2024, Hogan-Saindon played nine games for the Ottawa Redblacks. Ottawa’s offense averaged 366.9 net yards per game, 24.6 points per game, 83.7 rushing yards per game, 303.1 passing yards per game, 38 touchdowns, and tied sixth in sacks allowed (40).
Collegiately, Hogan-Saindon played four seasons at Laval University (2017-19, 2021), playing 20 games for the Rouge et Or. In 2018, Laval averaged 38.4 points per game, 301.6 passing yards per game, 150.1 rushing yards per game, 451.8 total yards per game, and 29 touchdowns, finishing the season 6-0, winning the Vanier Cup. He was named an RSEQ All-Star in 2021.
