The B.C. Lions signed kicker Mark McNamee on Thursday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Mark McNamee is six foot four and weighs 210 pounds. The 26-year-old from Dublin, Ireland, was drafted by the B.C. Lions in the second round (13th pick) of the 2025 CFL Global Draft. In 2025, McNamee made 2 of 2 field goals (100%) with a long of 42 yards, made one extra point, and had six kickoffs for 404 yards (67.3%), with a long of 77 yards in two preseason games. The Lions released him on May 31, 2025.
McNamee was a goalkeeper for the Gaelic Football for Ballyboden St Edna before heading to the NFL Combine in 2025 as part of the NFL International Pathway program. At the NFL Combine, he made good on all but one field goal attempt.
