The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed wide receiver Blayne Taylor and defensive back Cameron Stone on Tuesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Blayne Taylor is six foot five and weighs 215 pounds. A native of Saginaw, Texas, Taylor attended the Indianapolis Colts rookie minicamp in 2025.
Collegiately, Taylor spent two seasons at Cisco College (2020-21), a member of the NJCAA Division 1 in Cisco, Texas, with 22 catches for 271 yards in 15 games for the Wranglers.
Then, he transferred to Abilene Christian University (2022-24) with 133 catches for 2,026 yards, 17 touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 36 games for the Wildcats. In 2024, he made a career-high 73 catches for 1,117 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games on his way to being named Second Team All-UAC.
After the season, he became the second player in ACU’s history to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl since defensive back Danieal Manning in 2006.
Cameron Stone is five foot ten and weighs 180 pounds. The 24-year-old from San Antonio, Texas, attended the Seattle Seahawks rookie minicamp in 2025. The B.C. Lions signed Stone to the practice squad on July 9, 2025. The Lions released him on October 1, 2025.
Collegiately, Stone played three seasons at Wyoming (2020-22) with 45 tackles (32 solos, 13 assists), one tackle for loss, two interceptions for 38 yards, one touchdown, 10 pass breakups, one forced fumble, 12 kick returns for 354 yards, one touchdown, and one punt return for one yard in 28 games for the Cowboys. He was an All-MWC Honorable Mention by PFF in 2021.
Then, he transferred to Hawaii (2023-24) with 62 tackles (44 solos, 18 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions for 21 yards, 17 pass breakups, one forced fumble, one blocked punt, one punt return for 14 yards, and 16 kick returns for 331 yards in 23 games for the Rainbow Warriors.
