The Calgary Stampeders re-signed wide receiver Clark Barnes to a contract extension on Monday.
Clarke Barnes is six foot two and weighs 193 pounds. The 25-year-old from Brampton, Ontario, made 35 catches for 601 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games in 2025.
The Calgary Stampeders drafted Barnes in the third round (24th pick) of the 2023 CFL Draft. In his rookie season, Barnes made 25 catches for 234 yards, one touchdown, and 18 kickoff returns for 379 yards in nine games. In 2024, he made 44 catches for 590 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games.
Collegiately, Barnes played four seasons at the University of Guelph (2019, 2021-22) with 38 catches for 516 yards, six touchdowns, two carries for 23 yards, 23 kick returns for 710 yards, and four touchdowns in 14 games for the Gryphons.
In 2021, he was named Second Team OUA All-Star after making 23 catches for 345 yards, five touchdowns, and two kick returns for 127 yards and one touchdown in four games. In 2022, he made nine catches for 58 yards and four kick returns for 15 yards in four games.
