The B.C. Lions re-signed defensive back Marquise Bridges on Thursday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Marquise Bridges is five foot eleven and weighs 190 pounds. The 28-year-old from Minneapolis, Minnesota, made three tackles and one tackle on special teams in two preseason games. In 2025, Bridges made 16 tackles and two interceptions in six games. The Blue Bombers released him on August 6, 2025.
The B.C. Lions signed Bridges to the practice squad on September 10, 2025. He played in one regular-season game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Week 21 with one tackle. The Lions released him on November 11, 2025.
Bridges worked out for the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers. In 2022, he signed with the Northern Arizona Wranglers (IFL) with 35 tackles (22 solos, 13 assists), half a tackle for loss, three interceptions for 21 yards, ten pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, and one safety in 16 games helping the Wranglers win the 2022 IFL Championship over the Quad City Steamwheelers 47-45.
In 2023, Bridges played for the Bay Area Panthers (IFL), with 78 tackles (38 solos, 40 assists), two tackles for loss, five interceptions for 38 yards, 13 pass breakups, nine catches for 124 yards, and one touchdown in 16 games. He helped the Panthers win the 2023 IFL Championship Game over the Sioux Falls Storm 51-41.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Bridges on January 25, 2024. In 2024, he made seven tackles and one forced fumble in eight games.
Collegiately, Bridges played four seasons at North Dakota State (2016-19) with 87 tackles (58 solos, 29 assists), four tackles for loss, five interceptions for 46 yards, 26 pass breakups, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and three kick returns for 50 yards in 49 games for the Bison. He was named Second Team All-MVFC and helped the Bisons win three FCS championships.
