The Toronto Argonauts signed wide receiver Marcus Rogers, and defensive backs Nicolas Toomer, Jaylen Jones, and Damaje Yancey on Wednesday.

Marcus Rogers is six foot three and weighs 211 pounds. The 25-year-old from Smyrna, Georgia, signed with the Jacksonville Sharks of the Indoor Football League on March 13, 2025. In 2025, Rogers made 35 catches for 427 yards, 10 touchdowns, four carries for -2 yards, one rushing touchdown, and nine tackles (4 solos, 5 assists) in 11 games. He re-signed with the Sharks on September 5, 2025.

Rogers attended the Chicago Bears rookie minicamp in 2024. Then, he signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on May 23, 2024. In 2024, Rogers made seven catches for 49 yards in two preseason games. The Tiger-Cats released him on June 1, 2024.

Collegiately, Toomer played four seasons at Stanford (2019-22) with 29 tackles (18 solos, 11 assists), one tackle for loss, and five pass breakups in 21 games for the Cardinal. Next, he transferred to Indiana (2023-24) with 26 tackles (22 solos, 4 assists), three tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, and three pass breakups in 14 games for the Hoosiers.

Jaylen Jones is six foot one and weighs 203 pounds. A native of Richmond, Virginia, Jones signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, Jones made one tackle (1 solo) in two preseason games. He was placed on injured reserve and was released on September 1, 2025.

Collegiately, Jones spent four seasons at Virginia Tech (2021-24) with 77 tackles (37 solos, 40 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions for 52 yards, 11 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 43 games for the Hokies. In 2024, Jones had a career-high 40 tackles (17 solos, 23 assists), half a tackle for loss, three interceptions for 52 yards, and eight pass breakups in 12 games.

Damaje Yancey is six foot one and weighs 180 pounds. The 23-year-old from Long Beach, California, attended the Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp in 2025.

Collegiately, Yancey spent three seasons at Southern Utah University (2020-22) with 54 tackles (39 solos, 15 assists) and eight pass breakups in 25 games for the Thunderbirds.

Then, he transferred to Troy (2023-24) with 51 tackles (36 solos, 15 assists), four tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, and 10 pass breakups in 19 games for the Trojans. In 2024, he made 48 tackles (35 solos, 13 assists), four tackles for loss, two sacks, and nine pass breakups in 10 games.
