The Montreal Alouettes signed defensive lineman Kylan Guidry and linebacker Desmond Igbinosun on Wednesday.
Kylan Guidry is six foot four and weighs 240 pounds. The 24-year-old from Opelousas, Louisiana, signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, he made six tackles (1 solo, 5 assists) in four preseason games. The Chargers released him on August 26, 2025.
Collegiately, Guidry spent one season at Kilgore College (Louisiana) in the 2020-21 season with 20 tackles (11 solos, 9 assists), 1.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in eight games for the Rangers. Then, he transferred to Western Kentucky (2022-24) with 99 tackles (51 solos, 48 assists), 13 tackles for loss, six sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 28 games for the Hilltoppers.
In 2024, he was named a Preseason Third Team All-CUSA by Phil Steele and Athlon. Guidry made 45 tackles (23 solos, 22 assists), seven tackles for loss, three sacks, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 13 games.
Desmond Igbinosun is six foot two and weighs 213 pounds. A native of Union, New Jersey, Igbinosun signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2025. In 2025, Igbinosun made six tackles (4 solos, 2 assists) in three preseason games. The Ravens released him on August 26, 2025.
Collegiately, Igbinosun played four seasons at Rutgers (2021-14) with 186 tackles (95 solos, 91 assists), 15 tackles for loss, two sacks, seven pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 41 games for the Scarlet Knights. In 2024, he made 53 tackles (24 solos, 29 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, and two pass breakups in 11 games.
