The Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed wide receiver Tyler Ternowski for the 2026 season on Wednesday.
Tyler Ternowski is six foot and weighs 185 pounds. The 27-year-old from Hamilton, Ontario, re-signed with the Tiger-Cats on January 31, 2025. In 2025, he made 11 catches for 119 yards and 14 tackles on special teams in 16 games.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats drafted Ternowski in the third round (27th pick) of the 2020 CFL Draft. In 2023, he made six catches for 40 yards, one touchdown, one kick return for three yards, and four tackles on special teams in seven games.
The Tiger-Cats re-signed Ternowksi on February 7, 2024. In 2024, he made six catches for 67 yards in 16 games. In five seasons with Hamilton, Ternowski has made 39 catches for 465 yards, two touchdowns, one kick return for three yards, one tackle, and 37 tackles on special teams in 63 games.
Collegiately, Ternowski played four seasons at the University of Waterloo (2016-19) with 169 catches for 3,066 yards, 26 touchdowns, eight carries for 38 yards, completing 1 of 2 passes (50%) for 19 yards, one interception, 30 kick returns for 526 yards, and one punt return for 43 yards in 30 games for the Warriors. He was a two-time U Sports First Team All-Canadian.
