The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed offensive lineman Darius Washington and defensive lineman Liam Hoskins on Tuesday.

Darius Washington is six foot four and weighs 310 pounds. The 25-year-old from Pensacola, Florida, attended the Denver Broncos rookie minicamp in 2025. The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Washington on June 9, 2025. In 2025, he dressed for four games and finished the season on the practice squad. The Roughriders released him on November 17, 2025.

Collegiately, Washington played six seasons at Florida State (2019-24), playing 57 games for the Seminoles. He played 47 games as a starter, including 33 at left tackle, 11 at right tackle, and three at center.

In 2024, Washington started 10 games at left tackle. Florida State averaged 15.4 points per game, 270.3 yards per game, 180.3 passing yards per game, 89.9 rushing yards per game, and 19 touchdowns, finishing 2-10 for the season. He won the Bill McGrotha Award in 2024.

Liam Hoskins is six foot two and weighs 240 pounds. The 23-year-old from London, Ontario, was drafted by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the fifth round (43rd pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft. In 2025, Hoskins made two tackles and two sacks in two preseason games. He was placed on the retired list on May 31, 2025, as he was returning to school.

Collegiately, Hoskins played five seasons at the University of Windsor (2021-25) with 126 tackles (75 solos, 51 assists), 16 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, three interceptions for 142 yards, two touchdowns, seven pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 44 games for the Lancers.

In 2025, Hoskins made 21 tackles (15 solos, 6 assists), three tackles for loss, three sacks, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 10 games. He earned invites to the CFL Combine and the 2024 East-West Bowl.
