The Calgary Stampeders signed defensive lineman Max von Muehldorfer on Tuesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Max von Muehldorfer is six foot one and weighs 290 pounds. The 22-year-old from Calgary, Alberta, was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the seventh round (61st pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft. In 2025, Muehldorfer made two tackles and one fumble recovery in two preseason games. He was placed on the retired list on May 31, 2025, as he was returning to school.

Collegiately, Muehldorfer played five seasons at Western University (2021-25) with 87 tackles (41 solos, 46 assists), 8.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and two pass breakups in 31 games for the Mustangs. He was part of the 2021 Vanier Cup championship team.

In 2025, Muehldorfer made 26 tackles (15 solos, 11 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and one pass breakup in eight games. He was named First Team OUA All-Star.
