The Calgary Stampeders announced on Monday they will play a regular-season game at Apple Bowl Stadium in Kelowna, British Columbia, as part of Touchdown Kelowna against the B.C. Lions. The contest is set to take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
“We’re hoping as many of our fans as possible will make a road trip to Kelowna to cheer us on,” said Stampeders president Jay McNeil. “This is an exciting opportunity, and I know the Lions organization will serve as excellent hosts and put on a great event.”
Apple Bowl Stadium is currently home to several teams, including the Okanagan Sun of the Canadian Junior Football League. The stadium seats 1,054 in the grandstand, and an additional 1,200 on aluminum bleachers. The B.C. Lions will play two games at Apple Bowl Stadium due to the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Vancouver.
Season-ticket members will get a pre-sale opportunity to purchase tickets for the game, with further details to be announced. The 2026 season schedule will be released at a later date.
