The B.C. Lions re-signed defensive lineman Anthony Bennett, and signed wide receiver Kaedin Robinson and defensive back Donovan ‘D.K.’ Kaufman on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Anthony Bennett is six foot three and weighs 230 pounds. The 29-year-old from Weston, Florida, signed with the Montreal Alouettes on February 18, 2025. He attended training camp and was released on May 10, 2025. The Ottawa Redblacks signed Bennett on June 17, 2025. In 2025, he made two tackles on special teams in two games. The Redblacks released him on July 16, 2025.
The B.C. Lions signed Bennett to the practice squad on August 11, 2025. He appeared in four games for the Lions with one tackle on special teams. The Lions released him on November 9, 2025.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers drafted Bennett in the first round (8th pick) of the 2023 CFL Draft. He signed with the Blue Bombers on May 5, 2023. In 2023, he made eight tackles and three tackles on special teams in 18 games. The Blue Bombers released him on May 12, 2024.
Bennett played two seasons at the University of Regina (2021-22) with 63 tackles (39 solos, 24 assists), 20 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, one interception for 28 yards, one touchdown, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 14 games.
In 2022, Bennett made 38 tackles (22 solos, 16 assists), 12.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks, one interception for 28 yards, one touchdown, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery in nine games. He was named U SPORTS First-Team All-Canadian and Canada West All-Star in 2022.
Kaedin Robinson is six foot two and weighs 205 pounds. A native of Asheville, North Carolina, Robinson began his collegiate career at ASA Brooklyn in 2019 with 37 catches for 879 yards and nine touchdowns in 10 games for the Avengers. Robinson was named an NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention in 2019 and an All-Northeast Football Conference selection.
He did not play in 2020. Next, he transferred to the University of Central Florida in 2021 with one catch for 30 yards and one touchdown in four games for the Knights.
Then, he transferred to Appalachian State (2022-24) with 147 catches for 2,164 yards (63.6 AVG/G), 14 touchdowns, three carries for 29 yards, four punt returns for 73 yards, and two kick returns for 28 yards in 34 games for the Mountaineers.
In his final collegiate season in 2024, Robinson made 53 catches for 840 yards, two touchdowns, one carry for 13 yards, and two punt returns for 36 yards in nine games before an injury ended his season. He was named an All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention, Second Team All-Sun Belt by PFN, and First Team All-Sun Belt. Robinson was set to transfer to UCLA in 2025, but his additional year of eligibility was denied by a judge.
Donovan ‘D.K.’ Kaufman is five foot ten and weighs 200 pounds. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Kaufman attended the Seattle Seahawks rookie minicamp in 2025. The Seahawks signed him on July 28, 2025. He attended training camp and was released on August 5, 2025.
Collegiately, Kaufman played one season at Vanderbilt in 2020 with 15 tackles (8 solos, 7 assists) in two games for the Commodores. Next, he transferred to Auburn (2021-23) with 107 tackles (72 solos, 35 assists), eight tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions for 79 yards, four pass breakups, six forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 32 games for the Tigers.
Then, he transferred to North Carolina State University in 2024 with a career-high 74 tackles (20 solos, 34 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one interception for 33 yards, one touchdown, four pass breakups, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and one touchdown in 13 games for the Wolfpack.
