Temple struggles to drop their straight game against Tulane

The Temple Owls (5-6, 3-4) hosted the Tulane Green Wave (9-2, 6-1) on Saturday night from Lincoln Financial Field. Temple’s offense had 204 yards (184 yards passing, 20 yards rushing), 14 first downs, and the team was penalized eight times for 73 yards in a 37-13 loss to the Green Wave. It was Temple’s third straight loss.

Quarterback Evan Simon completed 21 of 32 passes (66%) for 168 yards, two touchdowns, and seven carries for -15 yards. Running back Jay Ducker had seven carries for 17 yards and four catches for 21 yards.

Wide receiver Colin Chase made five catches for 59 yards and one touchdown, while Peter Clarke made two catches for 25 yards and one touchdown. The defense allowed 406 yards (231 yards passing, 175 yards rushing), 22 first downs, with 62 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble.

Temple concludes the 2025 season next Friday against North Texas at 3:30 pm on ESPN.
