The Penn State Nittany Lions (5-6, 2-6) hosted the Nebraska Cornhuskers (7-4, 4-4) from Beaver Stadium on Saturday night. Penn State’s offense had 412 yards (181 yards passing, 231 yards rushing), 21 first downs, and the team was penalized five times for 65 yards in a 37-10 win. The win extended their winning streak to three games.
Quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer completed 11 of 12 passes (91.6%) for 181 yards, one touchdown, and four carries for two yards. Running back Kaytron Allen had 25 carries for 160 yards and two rushing touchdowns. With 160 rushing yards, Allen became Penn State’s All-Team Leading Rusher. Nicholas Singleton had seven carries for 44 yards, two rushing touchdowns, and three catches for 51 yards.
Wide receiver Trebor Pena made four catches for 47 yards, while Andrew Rappleyea made one catch for four yards and one touchdown. Kicker Ryan Baker made one field goal for 26 yards. The defense allowed 318 yards (187 yards passing, 131 yards rushing), 17 first downs, with 64 tackles, five tackles for loss, three sacks, and two pass breakups.
Penn State wraps up the 2025 season next Saturday against Rutgers at 3:30 pm on the Big Ten Network.
