The Rutgers Scarlet Knights (5-6, 2-6) visited Ohio Stadium on Saturday afternoon against the number one-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes (11-0, 8-0). Rutgers had 147 yards on offense (81 yards passing, 66 yards rushing), 12 first downs, and the team was penalized four times for 37 yards in a 42-9 loss to the Buckeyes.

Quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis completed 10 of 20 passes (50%) for 81 yards, and six carries for -23 yards. Running back Antwan Raymond had 15 carries for 52 yards and one rushing touchdown.

Wide receiver K.J. Duff made two catches for 34 yards, while Kenny Fletcher Jr. made four catches for 20 yards. Kicker Jai Patel made one field goal for 44 yards. The defense allowed 430 yards (176 yards passing, 254 yards rushing), 25 first downs, 57 tackles, four tackles for loss, and two pass breakups.

Rutgers concludes the 2025 season next Saturday against Penn State at 3:30 pm on the Big Ten Network.
