The Toronto Argonauts signed defensive tackle Ralph Holley on Friday.
Ralph Holley is six foot one and weighs 285 pounds. The 26-year-old from West Bloomfield, Michigan, signed with the Toronto Argonauts on October 23, 2023. In 2024, he made 22 tackles, eight sacks, and one forced fumble in 16 games, helping the Argonauts win the 111th Grey Cup. The Argonauts released him on January 10, 2025.
The Cleveland Browns signed Holley on January 13, 2025. In 2025, Holley made one tackle (1 assist) in three preseason games. He spent most of the season on the practice squad. The Browns released him on September 16, 2025.
The Philadelphia Stars signed Holley as a free agent on May 19, 2022. In 2022, Holley made nine tackles (3 solo, 6 assists), one sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in five games. In the playoffs, Holley made five tackles (2 solos, 5 assists). In 2023, Holley made three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists) in four games.
Collegiately, Holley played five seasons at Western Michigan (2017-21) with 138 tackles (77 solos, 61 assists), 45.5 tackles for loss, 20.5 sacks, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 50 games for the Mustangs.
Holley helped the Broncos win the 2021 Quick Lane Bowl over Nevada 52-24 with four tackles (2 solos) and a 0.5 sack. He was named to the Second Team All-MAC honors.
