The Paris Musketeers re-signed quarterback Zach Edwards on Friday.
Zach Edwards is six foot four and weighs 220 pounds. The 27-year-old from St. Paul, Minnesota, did not play in 2025. In 2024, Edwards was named the Offensive Player of the Year after completing 207 of 340 passes (60.8%) for 3,057 yards, 34 touchdowns, seven interceptions, 120 carries for 792 yards, and eight rushing touchdowns in 12 games. He led the team to an 11-3 record and a playoff victory against the Munich Ravens.
Edwards signed with the Barcelona Dragons on May 2, 2021. In 2021, he completed 192 of 357 passes (53.8%) for 2,514 yards, 21 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 78 carries for 248 yards, and two rushing touchdowns in 10 games. Edwards re-signed with the Dragons on December 20, 2021. In 2022, he completed 255 of 434 passes (58.8%) for 3,325 yards, 36 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, 98 carries for 549 yards, and four rushing touchdowns in 12 games.
The Paris Musketeers signed Edwards on November 30, 2022. In 2023, Edwards completed 258 of 435 passes (59.3%) for 3,096 yards, 30 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, 124 carries for 569 yards, and seven rushing touchdowns in 12 games.
Collegiately, Edwards spent four seasons at The College of St. Scholastica (2016-19), a Division III school in Duluth, Minnesota. He completed 696 of 1,222 (57%) for 9,024 yards, 90 touchdowns, 40 interceptions, 290 carries for 333 yards, 10 rushing touchdowns, one catch for 41 yards, one touchdown, one tackle (1 assist), one fumble recovery, and punting the ball one time for 32 yards in 36 games for the Saints.
In 2019, he broke the single-game program records in completions (36 twice), passing yards in a game (509), and total offense in a game (529). He set the single-season records in completions (282) and touchdowns (39).
He finished the season completing 282 of 453 passes (62%) for 3,105 yards, 32 touchdowns, 16 interceptions, 126 carries for 191 yards, six rushing touchdowns, one catch for 41 yards, and one touchdown in 10 games. He was named a three-time First Team All-UMAC (Upper Midwest Athletic Conference).
