The B.C. Lions signed defensive back Alexander Teubner on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Alexander Teubner is six foot one and weighs 200 pounds. A native of Seaside, Oregon, attended the Baltimore Ravens rookie minicamp in 2025.

Collegiately, Teubner spent six seasons at Boise State (2019-24) with 197 tackles (118 solos, 79 assists), 8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, 10 passes defended, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and one punt return for 18 yards in 54 games for the Broncos.

In 2023, he had a career-high 85 tackles (50 solos, 35 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, one interception, six passes defended, and one fumble recovery in 13 games. Teubner was named the Mountain West Championship Defensive MVP after making 10 tackles (4 solos, 6 assists), one tackle for loss, and one fumble recovery against UNLV. He was also a two-time All-Mountain West Honorable Mention, a Campbell Trophy Semifinalist in 2024.

In addition, Teubner was named a five-time Academic All-Mountain West and Mountain West Scholar-Athlete, three-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District, and a two-time National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society.
