The Calgary Stampeders signed wide receivers Corey Dyches and Melquan Stovall, and defensive linemen Savio Frazier and Elijah Hills on Wednesday. These players had signed future contracts earlier this year.

Corey Dyches is six foot two and weighs 220 pounds. The 23-year-old from Oxon Hill, Maryland, signed a futures contract with the Calgary Stampeders on October 30, 2025.

Collegiately, Dyches spent three seasons at the University of Maryland (2020-23). He played both wide receiver and tight end with 107 catches for 1,193 yards (30.6 AVG/G), nine touchdowns, and two tackles (2 solos), one tackle for loss, and one forced fumble in 39 games for the Terrapins.

In the 2022 Duke’s Mayo Bowl, Dyches made four catches for 45 yards, helping Maryland beat NC State 16-12. He was an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2022 and Third Team All-Big Ten in 2023 after finishing the season with 49 catches for 491 yards (44.6 AVG/G) and two touchdowns in 11 games.

Then, he transferred to the University of California in 2024 with 17 catches for 181 yards (20.1 AVG/G) and one touchdown in nine games for the Golden Bears. He had a 31-game streak of consecutive games with a reception after suffering an injury.

Dyches attended Potomac High School, where he was a dual-athlete playing in football and basketball. In his high school career, Dyches made 134 catches for 2,777 yards and 39 touchdowns. He was also named First Team All-Met in basketball after averaging 24 points per game.

Melquan Stovall is five foot nine and weighs 185 pounds. The 24-year-old from Lancaster, California, attended the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie minicamp in 2025. The Calgary Stampeders signed Stovall to a future contract on October 25, 2025.

Collegiately, Stovall spent three seasons at Nevada (2019-21) with 108 catches for 1,064 yards, one touchdown, three carries for -1 yard, four kick returns for 81 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 30 games for the Wolf Pack.

In the 2019 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, Stovall tied his career-high with seven catches for 84 yards. He finished the season with 19 catches for 171 yards and four kick returns for 81 yards in nine games. He earned Academic All-MW honors.

Next, he transferred to Colorado State in 2022 with 13 catches for 106 yards and four punt returns for 10 yards in three games for the Rams.

Then, he transferred to Arizona State (2023-24) with 42 catches for 494 yards, six carries for 34 yards, one rushing touchdown, seven kick returns for 115 yards, 17 punt returns for 188 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 26 games for the Sun Devils. In 2024, he made 24 catches for 287 yards, three carries for 13 yards, one kick return for 17 yards, and nine punt returns for 103 yards in 14 games.

Savio Frazier is six foot and weighs 290 pounds. The 22-year-old from Hampton, Georgia, attended the Cincinnati Bengals’ local pro day event, but he went undrafted in 2025. The Calgary Stampeders signed Frazier to a future contract on October 5, 2025.

Collegiately, Frazier played three seasons at Mercer University (2021-23) with 74 tackles (20 solos, 54 assists), 12 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries in 33 games for the Bears. He was named to the SoCon Freshman All-Conference Team.

Then, he transferred to Miami (OH) in 2024 with 24 tackles (7 solos, 17 assists), five tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and two pass breakups in 14 games for the Redhawks. He was named Miami’s Defensive Newcomer of the Year.

Elijah Hills is six foot three and weighs 282 pounds. The 22-year-old from Rockaway, New Jersey, attended the San Francisco 49ers rookie minicamp in 2025. The Calgary Stampeders signed Hills to a future contract on November 12, 2025.

Collegiately, Hills spent three seasons at the University of Albany (2021-23) with 67 tackles (33 solos, 24 assists), 17.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and three blocked kicks in 35 games for the Great Danes.

In 2023, he had a career-high 31 tackles (15 solos, 16 assists), nine tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, and three blocked kicks in 15 games on his way to being named Fourth-Team All-CAA.

Then, he transferred to Wisconsin in 2024 with 26 tackles (17 solos, 9 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery in 12 games for the Badgers.
