The Calgary Stampeders re-signed wide receivers Vyshonne Janusas and Ryan Jones, and defensive lineman Devonte O’Malley for the 2026 season on Tuesday.

Vyshonne Janusas is five foot eleven and weighs 221 pounds. The 24-year-old from Windsor, Ontario, was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the fifth round (38th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft. In 2025, Janusas made two catches for 14 yards in 10 games. The Stampeders released him on November 2, 2025.

Collegiately, Janusas played three seasons at the University of Guelph (2022-24) with 71 catches for 1,010 yards, eight touchdowns, three carries for four yards, completing one pass for 32 yards, 30 kick returns for 800 yards, one touchdown, and three tackles (2 solos, 1 assist) in 16 games for the Gryphons. In 2024, he made 37 catches for 546 yards, three touchdowns, 18 kick returns for 506 yards, one touchdown, and two tackles (2 solos) in eight games.

Ryan Jones is six foot three and weighs 247 pounds. The 26-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on January 28, 2025. In 2025, Jones appeared in one preseason game and recorded no stats.

He was placed on the retired list on May 26, 2025. The Stampeders re-signed Jones to the practice squad on September 14, 2025. The Stampeders released him on October 31, 2025.

Devonte O’Malley is six foot three and weighs 284 pounds. The 23-year-old from Hammond, Indiana, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on September 22, 2025. He spent the season on the practice squad. The Stampeders released him on November 2, 2025.

The Tennessee Titans signed O’Malley as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. The Titans released him on August 3, 2025. The Green Bay Packers signed O’Malley on August 18, 2025. In 2025, he made one tackle (1 solo) in one preseason game. The Packers released him on August 26, 2025.

Collegiately, O’Malley played five seasons at Northern Illinois (2020-24) with 127 tackles (67 solos, 60 assists), 29.5 tackles for loss, 22 sacks, one interception for two yards, three pass breakups, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one blocked kick in 56 games for the Huskies. He was named a two-time First Team All-MAC by Phil Steele, Second Team All-MAC, and an All-American Honorable Mention by Phil Steele.
