The Penn State Nittany Lions (4-6, 1-6) visited Spartan Stadium on Saturday afternoon against the Michigan State Spartans (3-7, 0-7). Penn State’s offense had 367 yards (127 yards passing, 240 yards rushing), 19 first downs, and the team was penalized four times for 45 yards as they snapped a six-game losing streak in a 28-10 win over the Spartans.

Quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer completed 8 of 13 passes (61.5%) for 127 yards, two touchdowns, and eight carries for six yards. Running back Kaytron Allen had 25 carries for 181 yards, two rushing touchdowns, and two catches for 10 yards.

Wide receiver Devonte Ross made two catches for 79 yards and two touchdowns, while Trebor Pena made four catches for 38 yards. The defense allowed 229 yards (128 yards passing, 101 yards rushing), 13 first downs, with 48 tackles, eight tackles for loss, five sacks, two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery.

Penn State hosts Nebraska next Saturday. Time and network to be determined.
