The Repco Supercars Championship held Race 30 on Saturday at Sandown Raceway for the first of two races in the Penrite Oil Sandown 500. Ryan Wood started the race on the pole, with Chaz Mostert starting second.
Chaz Mostert passed Ryan on the opening lap at Turn 1 and dominated the race, leading 63 of 81 laps to win his fourth race of the season by 3.834 seconds over Will Brown, who started in 15th place. For Mostert, it was also his third win in a row. He also clinched a spot in the Adelaide Grand Final.
Ryan Wood, Broc Feeney, and Brodie Kostecki rounded out the top five. Matthew Payne, Kai Allen, Anton De Pasquale, Bryce Fullwood, and James Golding completed the top ten.
