The Calgary Stampeders signed defensive lineman Elijah Hills to a future contract that starts in 2026 on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Elijah Hills is six foot three and weighs 282 pounds. A native of Rockaway, New Jersey, Hills attended the San Francisco 49ers rookie minicamp in 2025.
Collegiately, Hills spent three seasons at the University of Albany (2021-23) with 67 tackles (33 solos, 24 assists), 17.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and three blocked kicks in 35 games for the Great Danes.
In 2023, he had a career-high 31 tackles (15 solos, 16 assists), nine tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, and three blocked kicks in 15 games on his way to being named Fourth-Team All-CAA.
Then, he transferred to Wisconsin in 2024 with 26 tackles (17 solos, 9 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery in 12 games for the Badgers.
