Winnipeg Blue Bombers sign wide receiver Bryce Kirtz to a future contract

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed wide receiver Bryce Kirtz to a future contract that starts in 2026 on Tuesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Bryce Kirtz is six foot and weighs 180 pounds. A native of Brownsburg, Indiana, Kirtz spent six seasons at Northwestern (2019-24) with 132 catches for 1,781 yards (36.2 AVG/G), five touchdowns, two carries for seven yards, two kick returns for 17 yards, five punt returns for 63 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 49 games for the Wildcats.

In 2023, Kirtz set career marks with 49 catches for 701 yards (58.4 AVG/G), five touchdowns, two kick returns for 17 yards, and one punt return for one yard in 12 games. In the Las Vegas Bowl against Utah, Kirtz made five catches for 68 yards and one touchdown. He was named an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention.

In his final season in 2024, Kirtz served as a team captain. He made 39 catches for 598 yards and two punt returns for 36 yards in 11 games.
