The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed defensive back Seyi Oladipo Jr. to a future contract that starts in 2026 on Tuesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Seyi Oladipo Jr. is five foot eleven and weighs 205 pounds. A native of Centennial, Colorado, Oladipo Jr. attended the Miami Dolphins rookie minicamp in 2025.
Collegiately, Oladipo Jr. played four seasons at Boise State (2021-24) with 186 tackles (132 solos, 54 assists), 21.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks, four interceptions for 131 yards, one touchdown, 19 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 54 games for the Broncos.
In 2023, he made 70 tackles (44 solos, 26 assists), 8.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one interception, five pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 14 games. He was named an All-Mountain West Honorable Mention.
In his final season in 2024, Oladipo Jr. made 68 tackles (51 solos, 17 assists), 10.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 14 games. In the Mountain West Championship game against UNLV, Oladipo Jr. made 10 tackles (9 solos, 1 assist), two tackles for loss, one sack, and one forced fumble in a 21-7 win over the Rebels that secured them a spot in the College Football Playoff against Penn State in the Fiesta Bowl.
Oladipo Jr. was named Second Team All-Mountain West, Mountain West Championship Defensive MVP, First Team All-Mountain West by Phil Steele, and College Football Network Honorable Mention All-America.
