Temple loses to Army for their second straight loss

The Temple Owls (5-5, 3-3) visited Michie Stadium on Saturday afternoon against the Army Black Knights (5-4, 3-3). Temple’s offense had 268 yards (157 yards passing, 111 yards rushing), 16 first downs, and the team was penalized five times for 37 yards in a 14-13 loss. It was Temple’s second consecutive loss.

Quarterback Evan Simon completed 15 of 25 passes (60%) for 157 yards, one touchdown, and five carries for 18 yards. Running back Jay Ducker had eight carries for 46 yards and three catches for 18 yards.

Tight end Peter Clark made two catches for 51 yards, while Colin Chase made six catches for 36 yards and one touchdown. Kicker Carl Hardin made 2 of 3 field goals (66%), and the defense allowed 250 yards (26 yards passing, 224 yards rushing), 20 first downs, with 81 tackles, and one tackle for loss. Temple is off next week. They will host the Tulane Mean Green on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Time to be determined.
