 
The Calgary Stampeders signed wide receiver Corey Dyches to a future contract that starts in 2026 on Thursday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Corey Dyches is six foot two and weighs 220 pounds. A native of Oxon Hill, Maryland, Dyches transferred to the University of California in 2024 with 17 catches for 181 yards (20.1 AVG/G) and one touchdown in nine games for the Golden Bears. He had a 31-game streak of consecutive games with a reception after suffering an injury.
Collegiately, Dyches spent three seasons at the University of Maryland (2020-23). He played both wide receiver and tight end with 107 catches for 1,193 yards (30.6 AVG/G), nine touchdowns, and two tackles (2 solos), one tackle for loss, and one forced fumble in 39 games for the Terrapins.
In the 2022 Duke’s Mayo Bowl, Dyches made four catches for 45 yards, helping Maryland beat NC State 16-12. He was an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2022 and Third Team All-Big Ten in 2023 after finishing the season with 49 catches for 491 yards (44.6 AVG/G), and two touchdowns in 11 games.
Dyches attended Potomac High School, where he was a dual-athlete playing in football and basketball. In his high school career, Dyches made 134 catches for 2,777 yards and 39 touchdowns. He was also named First Team All-Met in basketball after averaging 24 points per game.
