The Canadian Football League announced on Monday that Mosaic Stadium in Regina, Saskatchewan, will host the 114th Grey Cup on November 7, 2027.

“Rider Nation is legendary and Saskatchewan’s winning bid was an unmistakable reflection of this incredible fanbase, filled with passion, celebration, a strong sense of community, and of course, a deep love of Canadian football. We look forward to seeing the entire province come together and open its arms to fans from coast to coast to coast, while showcasing the green and white pride of the prairies!” said CFL Commissioner Stewart Johnston.

The 2027 season will mark the 117th season for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The team was founded in 1910 and has won four Grey Cup titles. Their last title came in 2013 over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field by a score of 45-23.

The other two Grey Cups that were held at Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field happened in 1995, when the Baltimore Stallions defeated the Calgary Stampeders 37-20, and the other happened in 2003, where the Edmonton Eskimos beat the Montreal Alouettes 34-22.

The new Mosaic Stadium hosted the Grey Cup in 2022, where the Toronto Argonauts beat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers with a 24-23 win. In that game, Toronto Argonauts defensive end Robbie Smith blocked the potential game-winning field goal. Henoc Muamba was named the MVP and Most Valuable Canadian.

“Rider Nation! I look forward to seeing Rider Pride on full display as Saskatchewan welcomes fans from across the nation for the 2027 Grey Cup,” said Premier of Saskatchewan Scott Moe. “Our government is excited to support this event and the economic benefit that it will bring to local businesses and our province’s growing tourism sector.”

In addition to the Grey Cup, there will be a Street Festival, which will be an indoor event, allowing fans to enjoy the warm Saskatchewan hospitality without the chill November air. The league will make more announcements in the coming months.

“We are incredibly thrilled to welcome the nation to Regina for the 2027 Grey Cup. This celebration of Canadian spirit and community pride will bring people together in the power of sport and once again showcase our world-class venues and Regina hospitality,” said Mayor Chad Bachynski. “Hosting the Grey Cup is an honour and an opportunity to energize our economy, inspire our youth, and create unforgettable memories for fans from coast to coast. Regina is ready, and we can’t wait to deliver an experience that reflects the heart and soul of Saskatchewan.”

This year’s Grey Cup will take place at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Calgary’s McMahon Stadium will host the Grey Cup in 2026.
