The NASCAR Xfinity Series visited Martinsville Speedway on Saturday night in the IAA and Richi Bros 250. Harrison Burton started the race on the pole, while Carson Kvapil started second.
Taylor Gray led a race-high 52 laps to win his first career Xfinity Series win by 0.344 seconds over Sammy Smith in overtime. Brandon Jones, Sheldon Creed, and Aric Almirola rounded out the top five.
Almirola led 51 laps. Jeb Burton, Sam Mayer, Dean Thompson, Connor Zilisch, and Justin Bonsignore completed the top ten. Justin Allgaier led 37 laps, finishing in 26th place, and won the first stage, while Carson Kvapil led 40 laps, including winning the second stage, and finished in 18th place.
There were 11 lead changes among nine drivers, and nine cautions for 71 laps. Among the drivers who brought out a caution was Brenden Queen on lap 197. Connor Zilisch, Jesse Love, Carson Kvapil, and Justin Allgaier will compete for the championship next week.
The Xfinity Series concludes the 2025 season next Saturday from Phoenix Raceway at 7:30 pm on The CW.
