The Saskatchewan Roughriders re-signed Head Coach Corey Mace and General Manager Jeremy O’Day to two-year contract extensions through the 2028 season on Tuesday.

“These last two seasons have been incredibly special for Rider Nation and our football club, and so much of that has to do with the winning culture created by Corey and Jeremy,” said Saskatchewan Roughriders President and CEO Craig Reynolds. “I know we are just at the beginning of what they have created – and I look forward to what they are able to accomplish not only as we head into a Western Final at home this season, but for many years to come.”

Corey Mace is in his second season as the Roughriders’ Head Coach. The 39-year-old from Port Moody, B.C, joined Saskatchewan in 2024 after spending two seasons as a Defensive Coordinator for the Toronto Argonauts, where he won a Grey Cup in 2022.

He also coached the Calgary Stampeders’ Defensive line from 2016-21, helping them win the Grey Cup in 2018. He also won a Grey Cup with Calgary as a player in 2014.

In 2024, the Roughriders finished second in the West Division with a 9-8-1 record, appearing in the Western Final against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was named the 2024 West Division Coach of the Year. This year, Saskatchewan is 12-4, winning the West Division title last week.

Jeremy O’Day is in his 27th year with the Roughriders, seventh as the Vice President of Football Operations and General Manager. The 51-year-old from Buffalo, New York, has held a role in the team’s football operations since retiring from the CFL in 2010.

Since becoming the permanent General Manager in 2019, Saskatchewan has gone 55-46-1, reaching the playoffs four times, including a berth this year.

O’Day played 12 seasons in Saskatchewan, winning the Grey Cup three times (1997, 2007, 2013). He was also named a three-time CFL All-Star (2006-07, 2009), a six-time CFL West All-Star (2003, 2005-07, 2009-10), and a winner of the 2008 Tom Pate Memorial Award for community service.
