The Repco Supercars Championship visited the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, for the 68th running of the Repco Bathurst 1000. The race was dominated by rain, which led to seven Safety Car periods.

Late in the race, there was a three-car battle for the lead with Cooper Murray, James Golding, and Matthew Payne. Golding hit Murray to take the lead, but was issued a five-second penalty.

Despite Golding being the first to cross the finish line, Matthew Payne won the race over David Reynolds. James Golding, Cooper Murray, and Cameron Hill rounded out the top five. Broc Feeney, Andre Heimgartner, Kai Allen, Aaron Cameron, and Craig Lowndes completed the top ten.

The Repco Supercars Championship heads to Surfers Paradise in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, for the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 on October 24-26.
