Kenyon Reed is six foot and weighs 180 pounds. The 24-year-old from Sacramento, California, signed with the Ottawa Redblacks on February 28, 2025. In 2025, Reed made three tackles and one tackle on special teams in two preseason games. The Redblacks released him on May 31, 2025. The Redblacks signed Reed to the practice squad on October 7, 2025.
The Calgary Stampeders signed Reed on May 1, 2024. He played two preseason games with one tackle and earned a spot on the practice squad.
He was promoted to the active roster on August 3, 2024. Reed played three games with 10 tackles and one sack before returning to the practice squad on September 1, 2024. The Stampeders released him on September 5, 2024. The Ottawa Redblacks signed Reed on December 23, 2024.
Collegiately, Reed was a redshirt freshman at Kansas State in 2019 before transferring to San Jose State University (2020-23) with 105 tackles (79 solos, 26 assists), 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, 12 pass breakups, two interceptions for 58 yards, one touchdown, four kick returns for 27 yards, and 12 punt returns for 95 yards in 37 games for the Spartans.
