The Calgary Stampeders released running back Antario Brown from the practice squad on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Antario Brown is five foot ten and weighs 221 pounds. The 22-year-old from Savannah, Georgia, signed with the Calgary Stampeders practice squad on October 7, 2025.

Collegiately, Brown played four seasons at Northern Illinois (2021-24) with 518 carries for 3,090 yards, 26 rushing touchdowns, 21 catches for 263 yards, and two touchdowns in 40 games for the Huskies.

In 2023, he had 212 carries for 1,296 yards, 10 rushing touchdowns, 12 catches for 52 yards, and one touchdown in 13 games. He was named First Team All-MAC. He became the ninth player in school history to surpass 3,000 career rushing yards.
