
The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed defensive back Jordan Perryman and kicker Michael Hughes to the practice squad on Tuesday.
Jordan Perryman is six foot and weighs 202 pounds. The 26-year-old from Hanford, California, re-signed with the B.C. Lions on December 19, 2024. In 2025, Perryman made six tackles in two preseason games. The Lions released him on June 1, 2025.
The Las Vegas Raiders signed Perryman as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023, but he did not play in the preseason due to an undisclosed injury. The Raiders released him on September 5, 2023.
The B.C. Lions signed Perryman on February 26, 2024. In 2024, he made seven tackles, six tackles on special teams, and one forced fumble in 10 games. The Lions released him on November 3, 2024.
Collegiately, Perryman played five seasons at the University of California-Davis (2017-21) with 140 tackles (117 solos, 23 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions for 21 yards, 23 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and three kick returns for 35 yards in 42 games for the Aggies. He was named First Team All-Big Sky Conference and Third Team All-American by Phil Steele in 2021.
Then, Perryman transferred to Washington in 2022 with 37 tackles (25 solos, 12 assists) and one pass breakup in ten games for the Huskies.
Michael Hughes six foot three and weighs 190 pounds. A native of Charleston, West Virginia, Hughes attended the Cleveland Browns rookie minicamp in 2025.
Collegiately, Hughes played four seasons at Appalachian State (2021-24), making 35 of 42 field goals (83.3%) with a long of 54 yards, made 120 extra points, 280 kickoffs for 16,999 yards (60.7 AVG), 116 touchbacks, and one tackle (1 solo) in 46 games for the Mountaineers.
He is the all-time leader in field-goal percentages. Hughes was named Second Team All-American and FBS Specials Teamer of the Year by the College Football Network in 2023.
