The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed offensive lineman Sebastian Pares to a future contract starting in 2026 on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Sebastian Pares is six foot six and weighs 310 pounds. A native of Joliet, Illinois, Pares attended the Chicago Bears rookie minicamp in 2025.

Collegiately, Pares spent time at the University of Sioux Falls (2019-22), appearing in 21 games for the Cougars. In 2022, Sioux Falls averaged 32.82 points per game, 221.4 rushing yards per game, 203.27 passing yards per game, 424.6 total yards per game, 46 touchdowns, and allowed 13 sacks, finishing 8-3 for the season.

Then, he transferred to Eastern Illinois University (2023-24), playing right guard and left guard in 22 games for the Panthers. In 2024, Eastern Illinois averaged 18.5 points per game, 76.1 rushing yards per game, 266.2 passing yards per game, 342.3 total yards per game, 28 touchdowns, and allowed 43 sacks, finishing 3-9 for the season.
