The Calgary Stampeders signed defensive lineman Savio Frazier to a future contract that starts in 2026 on Sunday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Savio Frazier is six foot and weighs 290 pounds. A native of Hampton, Georgia, Frazier attended the Cincinnati Bengals’ local pro day event, but he went undrafted in 2025.

Collegiately, Frazier played three seasons at Mercer University (2021-23) with 74 tackles (20 solos, 54 assists), 12 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries in 33 games for the Bears. He was named to the SoCon Freshman All-Conference Team.

Then, he transferred to Miami (OH) in 2024 with 24 tackles (7 solos, 17 assists), five tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and two pass breakups in 14 games for the Redhawks. He was named Miami’s Defensive Newcomer of the Year.
