The Hamilton Tiger-Cats released linebacker Rayshawn Wilborn on Monday.

Rayshawn Wilborn is six foot three and weighs 230 pounds. The 28-year-old from Lansing, Michigan, made 39 tackles and five tackles on special teams in 10 games for the Tiger-Cats in 2025.

The Atlanta Falcons signed Wilborn as an undrafted free agent on April 27, 2020. He also spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, and the New York Giants. Wilborn made 28 tackles (18 solos, 10 assists), two sacks, and one pass breakup in nine preseason games.

Wilborn appeared in two regular-season games for the Broncos, recording no stats. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed Wilborn on February 15, 2024. In 2024, he made 26 tackles, three tackles on special teams, one sack, and two forced fumbles in 11 games.

Collegiately, Wilborn played two seasons at Garden City Community College (2016-17) with 120 tackles (75 solos, 45 assists), 22.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and seven pass breakups in 23 games for the Broncbusters.

Then, he transferred to Ball State (2018-19) with 166 tackles (93 solos, 73 assists), 12.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, four interceptions for 52 yards, 12 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 24 games for the Cardinals.
