Ryan Blaney holds off Josh Berry to win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

The NASCAR Cup Series visited New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon for the Mobil 1 301. Joey Logano started the race on the pole, with Ryan Blaney starting second.

Ryan Blaney led 116 of 301 laps, including winning the first stage, and the final 39 laps to hold off Josh Berry by 0.937 seconds for his third win of the season, and second in the last five races. With the win, he moves on to the Round of 8 playoffs.  It was his 16th Cup Series career win, and his first win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

William Byron, Joey Logano, and Chase Elliott completed the top five. Christopher Bell, Kyle Larson, Michael McDowell, Ross Chastain, and Chase Briscoe rounded out the top ten. There were eight cautions for 45 laps. Among the drivers involved were Shane van Gisbergen, Ty Gibbs, John Hunter Nemechek, and Daniel Suarez.

There were 14 lead changes among seven drivers. Joey Logano won the second stage and led the most laps in the race (147). The Cup Series heads to Kansas Speedway next Sunday at 3 pm on USA Network.
