Lehigh Valley shut out by Syracuse in season finale

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (87-61, 41-33) concluded the 2025 season on Sunday afternoon from Coca-Cola Park against the Syracuse Mets (77-73, 46-29). Alan Rangel (5-4, 4.51 ERA) was on the mound for Lehigh Valley against Jonathan Pintaro (1-3, 5.97 ERA) of Syracuse.

At the top of the second inning, Syracuse designated hitter Luke Ritter hit Rangel’s changeup for a solo home run at 386 feet to left field for a 1-0 lead. It was his 11th home run of the season.
