The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course for six hours of the TireRack.com Battle On The Bricks.

The No. 31 Whelen Cadillac team of Jack Aitken, Earl Bamber, and Frederik Vesti started the race on the pole. With nine minutes left, a full-course caution came out involving an LMP2 car, setting the stage for the final minutes of the race.

Jack Aitken was driving the No. 31 car, with Wayne Taylor Racing driver Ricky Taylor behind him. Aitken was able to hold off Taylor to win by 0.988 seconds in GTP. With the win, Cadillac became the 17th manufacturer to win an IMSA-sanctioned race in 2025.

The other winners at Indianapolis were the No. 11 TDS Racing ORECA LMP2 07 of Steven Thomas, Mikkel Jensen, and Hunter McElrea in LMP2. The No. 64 Ford Multimatic Motorsports Ford Mustang GT3 of Mike Rockenfeller and Sebastian Priaulx won in GTD Pro, and the No. 70 Inception Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 of Brendan Iribe, Frederik Schandorff, and Ollie Millroy won in GTD.

The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship concludes the 2025 season at Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 12 pm on NBC and Peacock.
