The Repco Supercars Championship returned to action on Sunday in the AirTouch 500 at The Bend from the Bend Motorsports Park in Tailem Bend, Australia.
Todd Hazelwood started the race for the Shell V-Power Mustang team. He passed Jamie Whincup on lap 15 to take the lead. Brodie Kostecki finished it off to beat Cam Waters to take the win. It was Ford’s first endurance race since the 2019 Bathurst 1000, which was won by the Shell V-Power Mustang.
Cam Waters/Mark Winterbottom finished second, and Matt Payne/Garth Tander finished third to complete an all-Ford podium. Will Brown/Scott Pye finished fourth, and Nick Percat/Tim Slade finished fifth.
The Repco Supercars Championship heads to Mount Panorama next month for the Repco Bathurst 1000.
