The Calgary Stampeders released running back Eno Benjamin from the practice squad on Thursday.

Eno Benjamin is five foot nine and weighs 207 pounds. The 26-year-old from Dallas, Texas, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on April 24, 2025. In 2025, he had three carries for seven yards, one catch for 10 yards, five kick returns for 80 yards, and five punt returns for 43 yards in two games.

The Arizona Cardinals drafted Benjamin in the seventh round (222nd pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played two seasons in Arizona with 104 carries for 417 yards, three touchdowns, 30 catches for 226 yards, and two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in 19 games, of which three were starts. The Cardinals released him on November 14, 2022.

The Houston Texans claimed Benjamin via waivers on November 15, 2022. He played two games with three carries for one yard before Houston released him on December 13, 2022. The New Orleans Saints claimed Benjamin via waivers on December 14, 2022. He carried the ball four times for 13 yards, and one catch for nine yards in three games.

During training camp, Benjamin suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in practice on August 5, 2023, and missed the entire season. He also did not play football in 2024.

Collegiately, Benjamin played three seasons at Arizona State (2017-19) with 576 carries for 2,867 yards, 27 touchdowns, 82 catches for 625 yards, four touchdowns, six kick returns for 119 yards, one blocked punt return for nine yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in 35 games for the Sun Devils. He was named a two-time First Team All-Pac 12 (2018-19).
