The St. Louis Battlehawks re-signed running back Kevon Latulas, wide receiver Jerome Kapp, offensive lineman Bradley Ashmore, and defensive end Shaka Toney on Friday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Kevon Latulas is six foot and weighs 200 pounds. The 25-year-old from Port Arthur, Texas, re-signed with the Battlehawks on August 6, 2024. In 2025, he had 23 carries for 137 yards, one touchdown, and one catch for four yards in four games.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Latulas on May 20, 2023, but he was released on June 4, 2023. Then, Latulas signed a letter of intent to play for the St. Louis Battlehawks on November 28, 2023. Latulas was released by the Battlehawks on March 10, 2024.

Collegiately, Latulas played one season at Kilgore Community College in 2019 with 34 carries for 340 yards, two touchdowns, 23 catches for 320 yards, two touchdowns, and one kick return for 20 yards in ten games for the Rangers. The Rangers finished the season 8-2, and Latulas earned honorable mention all-conference honors.

Latulas played three seasons at Missouri State (2020-22) with 144 carries for 1,029 yards, six touchdowns, 39 catches for 458 yards, four touchdowns, two kick returns for 34 yards, one punt return for 41 yards, one touchdown, and two tackles (2 solo) in 25 games for the Bears. In 2022, Latulas had 36 carries for 262 yards, two touchdowns, 17 catches for 192 yards, and one touchdown in 11 games for the Bears.

Jerome Kapp is six foot three and weighs 210 pounds. The 25-year-old from Scranton, Pennsylvania, re-signed with the Battlehawks on August 6, 2024. In 2025, he appeared in eight games recording no stats. He also appeared in one playoff game recording no stats.

The New York Jets signed Kapp as an undrafted free agent on May 23, 2023. Kapp made one catch for six yards in four preseason games. The St. Louis Battlehawks signed Kapp on January 19, 2024. He did not play for the Battlehawks in 2024.

Collegiately, Kapp began at Seton Hall in 2018 as a redshirt freshman for the Griffins. Then, he transferred to Kutztown University (2019-22) with 122 catches for 2,190 yards, 22 touchdowns, six carries for 52 yards, completed 1 of 3 passes (33%) for five yards, one touchdown, and three tackles (2 solo, 1 assist) in 36 games for the Bears. He was named First Team All-PSAC in 2021.

Bradley Ashmore is six foot six and weighs 303 pounds. The 23-year-old from Neptune Beach, Florida, attended the Miami Dolphins rookie minicamp in 2024.

The St. Louis Battlehawks drafted Ashmore in the fourth round (29th pick) of the 2024 UFL College Draft. He signed with the Battlehawks on July 17, 2024. In 2025, played 10 games, of which two were starts.

St. Louis averaged 23.1 points per game, 289.8 yards per game, 145.6 passing yards per game, 144.2 rushing yards per game, 23 touchdowns, and allowed 22 sacks finishing 8-2 for the season. The Battlehawks would appear in the XFL Conference Championship game against the D.C. Defenders.

Collegiately, Ashmore played four seasons at Vanderbilt (2020-24) playing left guard, right guard, and right tackle in 40 games for the Commodores. In 2023, Ashmore earned a Pro Football Focus run block grade of 77.4, the sixth-best among SEC offensive linemen.

Shaka Toney is six foot two and weighs 238 pounds. The 27-year-old from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, signed with the St. Louis Battlehawks on June 4, 2025. He did not appear in a game for the Battlehawks in 2025.

The Washington Football Team drafted Toney in the seventh round (246th pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played two seasons in Washington making 16 tackles (6 solos, 10 assists), two tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks in 26 games.

Washington released him on April 22, 2024. The Dallas Cowboys signed Toney on August 2, 2024. In 2024, he made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in one preseason game but suffered a groin injury and was released on August 22, 2024.

Collegiately, Toney played four seasons at Penn State (2017-20) making 112 tackles (59 solos, 57 assists), 30.5 tackles for loss, 21.5 sacks, four pass breakups, and five forced fumbles in 47 games for the Nittany Lions. He was named Second Team All-Big Ten in 2019 and First Team All-Big Ten in 2020.
