The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed wide receiver Kyran Moore to the practice squad on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page. To make room, they released defensive back Russell Dandy from the practice squad.
Kyron Moore is five foot ten and weighs 165 pounds. The 28-year-old from Bessemer, Alabama, re-signed with the Edmonton Elks on January 12, 2024. In 2024, he made two catches for 30 yards in one preseason game before missing the season with a Torn ACL.
Moore went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft and later signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on May 17, 2018. Moore played four seasons in Saskatchewan making 210 catches for 2,351 yards, ten touchdowns, 15 carries for 28 yards, and five kick returns for 141 yards in 46 games in Saskatchewan. In 2023, he made 69 catches for 743 yards, four touchdowns, one carry for eight yards, and three kick returns for 52 yards in 18 games.
Collegiately, Moore played four seasons at Austin Peay (2014-17) making 56 catches for 918 yards, five touchdowns, 60 carries for 347 yards, four touchdowns, 62 kick returns for 1,334 yards, two touchdowns, and 19 punt returns for 131 yards in 40 games for the Governors.
Russell Dandy is six foot and weighs 175 pounds. The 25-year-old from Hinesville, Georgia, re-signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on December 2, 2024. In 2025, he made three tackles and one tackle on special teams in two preseason games.
