The NTT IndyCar Series held the second-to-last race of the season on Sunday afternoon in the Snap-on 250 at the Milwaukee Mile in West Allis, Wisconsin. Alex Palou started the race on the pole, with David Malukas starting second.

On the opening lap, Nolan Siegel lost control of his car at Turn 4 and hit the wall. There were a total of five cautions throughout the race. Graham Rahal and Will Power also brought out cautions. The other two were for track inspection and a quick shower.

Alex Palou dominated the majority of the race, leading 199 laps. Outside of pit stops, he lost the lead to David Malukas on lap 16. Malukas led 25 laps, Marcus Armstrong led eight laps, Louis Foster led a lap, and Felix Rosenqvist led a lap.

With less than 20 laps to go, Christian Rasmussen had fresher tires than Palou. On lap 235, Rasmussen passed Palou on the outside to take the lead and quickly began to drive away. Rasmussen led the final 16 laps to win his first career NTT IndyCar race by 1.9463 seconds over Palou. Scott McLaughlin, Alexander Rossi, and Pato O’Ward rounded out the top five.

There were nine lead changes among six drivers. Colton Herta, who started in 24th place, had a good day finishing in 11th place. There were 685 passes, of which 306 were for positions.

The NTT IndyCar Series concludes the 2025 season next Sunday at Nashville Superspeedway for the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix at 2 pm on Fox.
