
The Edmonton Elks signed punter Ethan Duane on Monday.
Ethan Duane is six foot one and weighs 220 pounds. A native of Melbourne, Australia, Duane attended the Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp in 2025.
Collegiately, Duane played three seasons at Old Dominion (2021-23) punting the ball 169 times for 6,943 yards (41.1 AVG) with a long of 61 yards, and 49 from inside the 20-yard line in 37 games for the Monarchs. In 2023, he punted the ball 44 times for 1,767 yards (40.2 AVG) with a long of 61 yards, and eight from inside the 20-yard line in 12 games. He was named Sun Belt Honorable Mention and was named to the Ray Guy watchlist in 2023.
Then, he transferred to Buffalo in 2024, punting the ball 65 times for 2,770 yards (42.6 AVG), one touchback, 28 fair catches, 22 from inside the 20-yard line, 10 from 50-plus yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 13 games for the Bulls.
