Montreal Alouettes release WR Isaac Gaillardetz and DL Gabriel Maisonneuve

The Montreal Alouettes released wide receiver Isaac Gaillardetz and defensive lineman Gabriel Maisonneuve on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Isaac Gaillardetz is six foot two and weighs 217 pounds. The 23-year-old from Three Rivers, Quebec, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the sixth round (53rd pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft. In 2025, Gaillardetz made one catch for seven yards in two preseason games. The Alouettes placed him on the retired list on May 31, 2025, as he was returning to school.

Collegiately, Gaillardetz played four seasons at the University of Laval (2021-24) making 66 catches for 920 yards and seven touchdowns in 32 games for the Rouge et Or.

Gabriel Maisonneuve is six foot three and weighs 236 pounds. The 24-year-old from Gatineau, Quebec, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the fifth round (44th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft. In 2025, Maisonneuve made one tackle on special teams in two games. The Alouettes placed him on the retired list on May 31, 2025, as he was returning to school.

Collegiately, Maisonneuve played four seasons at the University of Montreal (2021-24) making 47 tackles, nine sacks, and three forced fumbles in 31 games for the Carabins.
